Community Impact & Charitable Partnerships
In 2025, Dominion Realty was proud to support the Pediatric Cancer Foundation through a company-wide fundraising and awareness initiative. Every property participated, and the collective effort exceeded fundraising totals from the previous two years.
Through this initiative, participating properties raised $9,292.45, and Dominion Realty contributed an additional $10,707.55, resulting in a total donation of $20,000. These funds are intended to support critical pediatric cancer research and help advance the development of new treatments. Dominion Realty extends sincere appreciation to all who contributed to making this impact possible.
2026 Charity Partnership: The V Foundation
For 2026, Dominion Realty is honored to announce a new charitable partnership with The V Foundation for Cancer Research, reinforcing the company’s ongoing commitment to making a meaningful difference in the fight against cancer.
Founded in 1993 by ESPN and the late Jim Valvano—legendary North Carolina State University basketball coach, ESPN commentator, and member of the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame—The V Foundation has funded more than $458 million in groundbreaking cancer research across North America. Research grants are awarded through a highly competitive process overseen by a world-class Scientific Advisory Committee.
A defining feature of The V Foundation is its commitment to directing 100% of direct donations to cancer research and related programs, with administrative costs covered by an endowment. Jim Valvano’s legacy continues to inspire progress toward lifesaving discoveries, and Dominion Realty is humbled to support this mission.
